This collection contains photos of Herman and Pauline Schumann and their family. Many of the photos are unidentified. Other documents include the original baptismal and marriage records from Germany as well as the deed of sale for land owned by Herman Schumann.

This collection consists of genealogy and photographs for Lloyd Clayton Hixson and other family members. The majority of the collection are photographs taken and collected by Lloyd Hixson. These photographs document various family members as well as his military service in the United States Navy. Also included is a photograph of his parents, Floyd T. Hixson and Julia L Littlejohn, on their wedding day. There is also a genealogy pedigree chart completed by Lloyd’s daughter, Gail.

This collection contains photographs from the Little family. These photograph range from the 1920s to the 1980s. These consists of various Little generations and most photos have accompanying labels. Three photobooks are included with this collection that do not have any accompanying labels.

Other surnames found within this collection include Vancil, Williams, Nash, Hodge, Huffman, Upshaw, Mears, and others. This family history contains photographs, letters, cards, and genealogical research. Also included are photographs and information relating to Denlow history located in Douglas County, Missouri.

Scope and Contents This collection contains materials related to the Maki family and its genealogy. The different lines of the family immigrated to the United States from Finland and Germany, and many of the individuals documented in the collection lived in Wisconsin. The collection contains numerous photographs, correspondences, telegrams, family research, and other legal documents related to specific family members. There are also postcards from Finland, as well as a family bible from 1826, a Finnish prayer...

Scope and Contents The collection includes research done in 1940s and 1950s by Margaret Hubbard Countryman on both her family, the Hubbard line, and her husband’s family, the Countryman line. The collection includes unique family items some dated from the nineteenth century. The oldest item in the collection is a pension request for Godfrey Young dated 1806. Some other interesting items include a calling card from Paulina Hubbard circa 1830, Alonzo Hamlin’s bank notes from the 1850s and 1860s, a Palmer family...

This collection contain genealogy research for the Norman, Allen, Cort, Cation, Cannady, Griffith, Ross, Steele, and Wuebbold families. This collection also contains family photographs, correspondences, an autograph book from 1938, and a newsletter from Zion Lutheran Church in St. Louis, Missouri.

The Midwest Genealogy Center receives donations relating to family history and genealogy. Photos that do not fit into existing collections become a part of the photo collection. Many photos have identifiable information with the photos or on the backs of the photos while others are unidentified. Many photos have come from estate sales or from donors who have no connection to the family.
