This collection consists of the family Bible for Nellie Oleta Griffitts and Abner Jefferson Marks. The cover and some of the pages of the Bible are missing, but the family records sheets within the Bible are complete. This Bible contains some birth, death and marriage information for parents and grandparents as well as children. Dates were recorded in the family bible as late as the 1950. The names and dates were written at different times and in various handwriting.

Martha Jacobson Scrapbooks

Scope and Contents This collection contains scrapbooks and photos found in a 1920s house in Kansas City, Missouri. The scrapbooks were created by Martha S. Jacobson. One scrapbook contained newspaper clippings, letters, dance cards, post cards and other personal memorabilia. Photos signed by Martha’s classmates were mounted on the pages of another album. Maude Zallee Jefferis Collection

This collection contains a scrapbook from Maude Zallee Jefferis. This scrapbook primarily contains messages, autographs, photographs, drawings, and paintings from her classmates at Soldan High School in St. Louis, Missouri. There are also two groups of photos in the collection which were found in the scrapbook. These include senior photographs of Zallee Jeffries’s classmates, as well as some older photographs of babies, which are unidentified.
