Telephone Pioneers of America -- Chapter #38 Papers
This collection contains historical documents pertaining to the telephone industry in Kansas City, including: history, photographs, and a map. In addition, there are administrative materials and newsletters from the Kansas City Long Lines Council-Charles S. Gleed Chapter. The newsletter titles are Pioneer Smoke Signals and News Around 811. There are significant gaps for which no records exist from 1919-1934 and 1952-1967.

This collection consists of a family record book for the William Lafayette Thomas family. The book begins with genealogical information for William and continues this family’s genealogy through great-grandchildren. There is also genealogy information for those who married into this family line.
Titus Family Collection
This collection is completely digitalized and available on the Midwest Genealogy Center’s digital archival collections webpage. The collection contains correspondence between Square Holt and family members during his Civil War service while he served with the 26th Michigan Infantry (Union). Also included is a journal written by Melville Titus (brother-in-law of Square Holt), photographs of various Titus and Holt family members, and ephemera created by the both the Titus and Holt families.

The composition book contains transcriptions of church and bible records. Church records include the English Lutheran Church of Kansas City, St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, and Swedish Lutheran Church. Transcriptions of numerous family Bibles record births, marriages, and deaths. Notes detail the owner and location of the Bible. Many of the records relate to families in the Kansas City area.
Treas Family Bible
Shawnee Masonic Lodge #54 presented the family Bible to Maxine (McCollum) Treas on 20 April 1988. The family record pages are written in the same handwriting except for Maxine’s death date. The record pages include information on Maxine and her husband, her grandparents, child, and grandchildren.
Turner Family Bible
This collection consists of the family Bible for Nannie (Johnson) Turner. This Bible contains the family records for births, marriages, and deaths for her parents and siblings and half siblings. She also recorded the names and birth dates of her grandparents as well as her children and grandchildren.
