This collection contains the reminiscences of Rachel Minerva Owsley Barton, written from 1890 to 1914. The collection also contains a transcription of the papers compiled by Donna Eitel in 2023. Also included are a set of land records from 1826-1841 in Indiana, Illinois, and Massachusetts, which were likely owned by Thomas Owsley (1806-1882).

There is also a scrapbook containing numerous photographs and other items from the military servicemen in the 1940s, as well as a folder containing an army air force training certificate from 1945 for Charles DeBaar.
