Maki Family Collection
Scope and Contents
This collection contains materials related to the Maki family and its genealogy. The different lines of the family immigrated to the United States from Finland and Germany, and many of the individuals documented in the collection lived in Wisconsin. The collection contains numerous photographs, correspondences, telegrams, family research, and other legal documents related to specific family members. There are also postcards from Finland, as well as a family bible from 1826, a Finnish prayer book, and several rolled birth, baptism, and confirmation certificates.
