This collection consists of scrapbooks and photographs that document the American Ex-Prisoners of War-Heart of America Chapter‘s activities. Also included in this collection is a manuscript for the book Former American Prisoners of War Tell Their Stories and a history of Stalag IVB, Muhlberg, Germany.

This collection contains family photographs and photographs of gravesites of the Bean family, as well as photocopies and notes on family history. There is a copy of a Manual of Interior Guard Duty, signed by Jesse W. Bean in 1918. Jesse W. Bean died in the Influenza epidemic of 1918.

This collection consists of the genealogical research that Bernice Burkeholder conducted. Her research follows a number of lines and each folder within this collection represents one researched line. Other surnames found within collection include BURNS, CAGE, EVERETT, GIBSON, MACKERY, STUBBS, TERRELL, WALTNER, WEST, and WOLZ. In addition to the genealogical research, this collection also contains photographs, family histories, and photocopied documents.

This collection contains manuscripts and notes used to write family histories on both the Stevens family and Gray family. Casimir P Stevens used the information from his genealogical research to write several books on both families from about 1918 to 1940. Typed original copies of his books were included in the donation and have been added to the Midwest Genealogy Center book collection. Photographs of family members in the collection date around the early twentieth century.

This collection consists of the genealogy research of Helen Clements. The completed work from this research is titled Clements Family Records and was finished in 1972. Within this work are genealogy charts, family history, and transcribed records. Also found within this collection are photographs, correspondence, Bible records, genealogy charts, and miscellaneous family histories.

Scope and Contents This collection contains materials related to the Eck and Wells families, including several photographs ranging from ambrotypes taken in the 1860s to photographs of gravesites in the 1980s. This collection consists of photographic slides taken by George Acree. The materials date from 1951-1962, but the majority are undated. The images are mostly scenes, locations, and events in the Kansas City, Missouri, area. Some events include the American Royal Parade, Jaycees parade, and Margaret Truman’s wedding. Materials are arranged in alphabetical order.

This collection contains documents related to the family history descending from Darius Hawley and Laura Huffcott. This includes a handwritten family history, family photographs, and a scrapbook filled with family photographs. The scrapbook contains photographs of members of the family in many different scenes, including scenes at work on construction sites. Photographs in the collection date back to the late 1800s and extend to the early 2000s.

Scope and Contents This collection mainly contains photographs of the Roy and Cook families. Other photographs include ones taken by Herbert C Roy, a professional photographer in the St. Louis area. One particular photograph of interest is one taken by Herbert C Roy of former President Harry S.
