This collection contains the personal papers, genealogy, and photographs of Vera Grandfield Fawbush. Some of the other surnames found within this collection include Adamson, Fowler, Fritze, Hull, Lalonde, Muma, Ott, Rush, and Watson. Also found within this collection are a Grandfield family history, scrapbooks, obituaries, and newspaper clippings. Vera’s daughter, Edythe Fawbush Haywood, also contributed to this collection. There are two oversize items, a photograph and newspaper edition.

The Bible was presented to Harry Vickers by Patricia Vickers in 1956 upon becoming a Master Mason in the Freemasons. The Bible has a section for family history, military service, and pertinent masonic information.

Walker/McCann Family Diaries
This collection consists of diaries written by members of the Joel M. Walker and Charles R. McCann families. These diaries describe the lives of farmers and their families. In addition to recording family life, these diaries also recorded historical events happening around Iowa and the United States. All diaries were written in Cedar and Muscatine counties in Iowa.

Washington Township Civil Docket
The collection consists of one civil docket book from the time that Si Farmer served as Justice of the Peace in Washington Township in Jackson County, Missouri. The beginning of the book contains an alphabetical index of names with corresponding page numbers. The main portion of the book details the cases brought before the Justice of the Peace. They list the plaintiff and defendant along with the fees involved and who was responsible for paying those fees.
