Scope and Contents

The collection consists headstone photographs taken by Bethel 29, Independence International Order of Job’s Daughters (Independence, MO) in 1992. The photographs are in color and a typed transcription of the information from the headstone is included. The photos are arranged by row and includes an index. The oldest date found on a headstone is from 1843 and the most recent date is from 1903. Family names inlucde Antle, Karns/Kerns, Kelley, Miller, and Schweedler.

This collection contains a scrapbook detailing Clay County, Missouri marriages in the 1822-1875. Printed in the Liberty Chronicle [Liberty, MO] during the 1930s, this information contains names, dates, and more from the early days of Clay County. The information was compiled by the Alexander Doniphan Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.

Scope and Contents This collection contains photos and genealogical documents relating to the Jennings, Gartman, and Nauman families. Photos date back to the nineteenth century and some have been identified and dated. Genealogical documents include such items as marriage and death certificates, obituaries, funeral programs, wedding announcements, and naturalization papers.
